Acision, a messaging company, said that Telenet, a provider of residential broadband, telephone and TV services, has upgraded its voicemail platform to its next generation messaging architecture. This platform will allow Telenet to deliver converged messaging and voice mail applications for its full MVNO mobile platform.
According to Acision, the new messaging platform is an offering that allows Telenet to provide services such as business voice, unified messaging, VoiceSMS, VoiceMMS, visual voicemail and voice to text all within a single offering architecture. In addition, the Acision offering scales to support Telenet’s plans for growth.

In addition, Acision is also providing Telenet with upgrades to the voicemail software and hardware platforms and implementation, integration, maintenance and support services, making it the contractor for the new offering.
