Tele2 is now offering a single IoT interface capable of integrating solutions from other companies including Microsoft, Telit and ThingWorx.
The IoT Portal features self-service components such as a Customer Self-service Module, allowing customers and partners to access incident reporting, contact management, planned and unplanned maintenance messages, and service reporting.
Rami Avidan, Commercial Director at Tele2 M2M, said: "With this portal, we are creating an M2M/IoT application store, where you can choose to include individual tools that can take your business further through the right M2M/IoT solutions."
Telit will integrate its deviceWISE Application Enablement Platform, a cloud based IoT service that connects devices to applications.
Tele2 added that Microsoft will include the Azure IoT Services in Tele2’s portal, which integrates tools to support big workloads of data ingestion as well as services for Advanced Analytics in real-time, Big Data analysis and Machine Learning.
The company confirmed PTC’s ThingWorx IoT platform will also be part of Tele2’s IoT Portal debut.
The ThingWorx platform combines capabilities from the PTC Axeda solution to deliver an IoT Platform which includes connectivity, device cloud, business logic, big data, analytics and remote service applications. Companies can connect assets, create applications, and capture value.
Richard Lind, CTO of Internet of Things at Microsoft Sweden, comments: "Many organisations face a digital transformation today. New eco-systems and opportunities are created in all industries like manufacturing, healthcare, facilities and logistics.
"Shifting income models, business models, societal and national capabilities can and will achieve amazing results. This cooperation with Tele2 makes it easy to explore and capitalize on the assets delivered by IoT."
Russ Fadel, president, ThingWorx, said: "We look forward to working with Tele2 to help its customers realise the full value of complementing their M2M Products and Services with the ThingWorx IoT Application Enablement Platform."
