Dell unveiled its latest 5000 Series laptops and Inspiron Micro Desktop at Computex in Taipei.

The Inspiron 5000 Series feature an Intel or AMD for zippy processors depending on the user’s needs.

The notebook comes in 15" and 17" models both geared with FHD 1080p, and a third 15" option with HD display.

The Inspiron Micro Desktop measures 5.16" x 5.16", includes a dual-core Intel Pentium processor and Intel HD graphics solutions.

The desktop can be connected to other streaming devices via an in-built HDMI port. It also has four USB ports and a 3-in-1 SD card reader. Dell added a Gigabit LAN, integrated Bluetooth and installed 802.11a/c wireless technology.

Ray Wah, VP of the Consumer Product Group at Dell, said: "Everyday computing is more fun when you can power video chats and games with the latest processors and graphics, or enjoy an immersive multi-media entertainment experience courtesy of brilliant front-of-screen displays with fantastic audio."

Both devices are available in the UK at £199 for the Micro Desktop and £299 for the notebook.
