Creative Computers Inc, Torrance, California direct marketer of personal computer hardware, software and peripherals to users of Macintosh and Windows personal computers, has filed with the US Securities & Exchange Commission to offer 2.0m shares, 500,000 of them new. The issue will be underwritten by William Blair & Co and Dillon Reed & Co.
Macromedia Inc, San Franciso multimedia tools developer, got its offer of 2.1m shares, 1m of them new, away at $48.50 per share. The issue was handled by Morgan Stanley & Co Alex Brown & Sons, Montgomery Securities and Volpe, Welty & Co.
PanAmSat Corp, Greenwich, Connecticut independent satellite owner and operator, is celebrating the succesful launch of its PAS-4 Indian Ocean Region satellite, which joins PAS-1 and PAS-2 satellites in space, and will broadcast television and telecommunications services throughout Africa, Europe, the Middle East and south Asia, making PanAmSat the first private company ever to provide global satellite services, by filing with the US Securities & Exchange Commission to go public with an initial offer of an unspecified number of shares; no target price was given, but Morgan Stanley & Co Inc will act as lead underwriter for the share offering.
TriQuint Semiconductor Inc, maker of Gallium Arsenide circuits, has filed with the US Securities & Exchange Commission to offer 1.5m shares; net proceeds of at least $30.4m will be used for lease, purchase, renovation or construction of a wafer fabrication facility and working capital. Underwriters are Montgomery Securities and Cowen & Co.
