SCI Systems Inc chief executive Olin King told the conference that the Huntsville, Alabama contract manufacturer is examining the possibility of buying computer equipment manufacturers, although there is nothing specific to announce – We don’t have any announcements to make here this morning, but I can tell you that we’re working in that area quite busily and believe that we would shortly be able to close one or more of those deals, King said; he expects operating margins to improve in the coming calendar year after being flattish in the first fiscal quarter ended September 30; King would not comment on Montgomery projections that operating margins would tend toward flat in the current fiscal quarter to year-end; operating margin growth was positive in prior quarters.
