Under the terms of the three year agreement, Savvis will provide Availity with a variety of network, hosting, and professional services, including Savvis Foundation Hosting which allows customers to maintain control of their operating system but eliminates burdens such as server hardware procurement, racking and stacking, space and power management, and onsite support.

In addition, Savvis will provide managed security services consisting of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and log management services that provide customers with an easy method for storing and searching system logs and triggers alerts to help them respond to security threats in real-time. Services will be delivered from Savvis’s data centers in Dallas and Atlanta.
