Science Applications International Corp’s (SAIC) support will assist the department in improving its national crop insurance program. The San Diego-based company will maintain legacy systems, operate and maintain hardware and software infrastructure, and re-engineer the current IT environment.
The General Services Administration’s (GSA) Federal Systems Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM) awarded the order under its Millennia IT contract. SAIC will provide support to the agriculture department’s Washington, DC headquarters, the Kansas City branch, and to all 10 regional offices, five compliance offices, Tarleton State University, and USDAs Center for Agriculture Excellence.
