According to the company, its Pinnacle V6 is a software suite that offers medium-to-large organizations the ability to enable lifecycle management of their VoIP operations and to consolidate the management and delivery of all technology-related services.

This new telephony manager feature is expected to empower IT administrators to: eliminate the need to learn complex switch commands; reduce provisioning time by using templates for common configurations; automatically synchronize the Cisco Unified Communications Manager data with their pinnacle database; eliminate duplicate data entry and associated risk of errors; streamline the entire order provisioning process by automating program changes for moves, adds, changes and disconnects through a single Pinnacle interface.

Larry Foster, vice president and general manager for Pinnacle Software, said: The majority of our customers manage a hybrid VoIP environment, and Cisco is an essential component of most hybrid VoIP infrastructures. This enhancement to our telephony manager module will provide our customers the ability to manage their multifaceted VoIP systems through a single Pinnacle user interface.
