According to the company, the Smart-AG delivers better position availability with 14 GPS L1 channels, 12 GLONASS L1 channels, and an additional two channels for satellite-based augmentation systems. Two NMEA 0183 compatible RS-232 serial ports, an NMEA2000 compatible CAN port, plus built-in mounting magnets deliver maximum flexibility.

Curtis Anderson, vice president machine control at NovAtel, said: Offering sub-meter accuracy with GL1DE’s smooth positioning, the SMART-AG delivers the performance and features that agricultural system integrators need. And since we designed the antenna to meet or exceed stringent environmental specifications, the SMART-AG can withstand even the harshest agricultural conditions.
