Minneapolis, Minnesota-based MultiTech Systems Inc has added two new models to its range of MiniArray network communications servers, following a collaboration deal with Citrix Systems Inc. The MiniArray-8CWF/HD uses MultiTech hardware and Citrix’s WinFrame software to create a server offering that MultiTech claims can plug into any Windows NT or NetWare network. It provides services via standard phone lines, local networks, wide area networks, broadband connections or the Internet, and can also interface with external ISDN terminal adaptors multiplexers and asynchronous or synchronous modems. The product is based around Multi-Tech’s 80486DX4/100 Single Board computer, with 32Mb of memory, a MultiTech ISI608 eight-port high-speed ser-ia l board, Ethernet Network Interface Card and 426Mb disk. Also new is the Mini-Array-8NWC/HD, based around Multi-Tech hardware and Net-Ware Connect software. It will provide complete integration of NetWare Connect with MultiTech’s 80486DX2/66 single board computer, 16Mb memory, MultiTech ISI608 eight-port serial port, Ethernet interface board and a 426Mb disk. The products are due this month but with no pricing yet.
