SoftServe and Intel have entered a partnership to develop IoT solutions with Intel’s Edison Platform.

Intel said it has offered SoftServe use of the company’s platform to lower the barriers to entry for quick prototyping and productising the connected computing devices – driving the next industrial revolution.

The chipmaker said Edison has been designed to target emerging entrepreneurs. It combines a small, powerful, adaptable hardware platform and partner-enabled ecosystem with extended software compatibility and supportive online environment.

SoftServe added that it will use the platform to develop image recognition and detection solutions.
