Honeywell Bull Inc has expanded its office hardware and software offerings with office publishing capabi lity and enhanced communications on its DPS 6 Plus minicomputer line. The Office Network Exchange Plus ONEimage Image Workstation is an MS-DOS system for office publish ing, with facilities to create, scan, edit, store, combine and print images and text. The workst ation comprises Honeywell Bull AP-X personal computer, high-resolution graphics monitor, 30Mb disk, mouse and optional scanner, plus ONEimage software, comprising Microsoft Win dows interface, Aldus Pagemaker desktop publishing software, and Micrograf In-A-Vision drawing pack age, the thing costs $10,450. In a DPS 6 Plus/DPS 6 office net, com pound documents can be electronic ally mailed and manipulated, revis ed and printed in either a desktop or office publishing application. The new Local Area Control Subsyst em connects DPS 6 Plus and DPS 6 minis to Ethernet and other Open Systems-compliant local area net works. The company also announced new releases of its operating syst ems – Update 03 of HVS Plus Version 1.0 and GCOS 6 MOD 400 Release 4.0. Maximum disk is expanded, a new SNA 6 package enhances IBM communicati ons, and Honeywell Bull’s DSA 6 communications software is offered. The office suite now supports Orac le Corp’s Oracle 5.1 and PC Oracle.
