HCL Technologies has launched a new digital service exchange platform that provides service integration and management capabilities to enterprises.

The platform enables companies to request and receive business services across their organisations. It features role-based user interface with built-in scalability.

It unites ServiceNow’s service management platform with HCL’s expertise in enterprise service management process design, process and technology integration and organisational change.

The platform will help in generating service demands like content requisitions from several departments and standard catalogue with defined service utility.

It will provide warranty to business and IT enterprises for use through various access channels.

HCL Technologies senior vice president & chief technologist – ITO Kalyan Kumar said: "The 21st century enterprises will need to be extremely agile to deliver best in class united experience to its users.

"Enterprises therefore need an on-Demand access to a pool of dynamically configurable set of smart business services."

Earlier this month, HCL and IBM initiated a collaborative effort to accelerate IoT adoption.

The companies will establish an Incubation Centre in Noida, India to jointly develop IoT solutions for several industries.
