Fiat unveiled its 2016’s Fiat 500, which will feature an Uconnect LIVE embedded infotainment system with five years Traffic and TomTom services.
The manufacturer said all TomTom’s solutions will come built-in, with the smart vehicle including TomTom’s Traffic, Speed Cameras alerts, local search with TomTom Places and TomTom Weather.
The Uconnect LIVE system will also have a 5” Radio Nav system, Internet Radio with TuneIn, Internet music with Deezer, news with Reuters and social networks with Facebook and Twitter.
Drivers will be able to control all the in car infotainment environment via a touch screen display.
Jan-Maarten de Vries, VP Automotive Product Marketing at TomTom, said: "With our connected services included for five years, this is the most comprehensive package to drivers ever launched in a Fiat 500, helping to make every driver’s journey faster and better informed."
Fiat said that TomTom connected services, part of FCA’s Uconnect LIVE offering, are also available on Fiat 500x and will be available on other models and countries across Europe.
