Dutch media group SBS/Sanoma has chosen Ericsson to deliver managed end-to-end OTT platform to deliver live and on-demand TV services.

Ericsson has been tasked with providing a complete end-to-end online video service, including content management and preparation, digital rights management and advertising insertion for multiple devices and platforms.

The company said the venture will allow its customers to access all of the its content anytime, anywhere, on multiple devices and platforms, via a single entertainment hub.

Ericsson’s Online Video Service is powered by the company’s Mediaroom Reach and combines OTT delivery and playout to deliver content to consumers.

SBS/Sanoma added the rollout will start in the Netherlands next month and will be available via the web, mobile apps, smart TVs and game consoles.
