Wipro Infotech, a provider of IT and business transformation services, has unveiled FluidState Data Centers, which are predesigned, prefabricated, to setup Data Center in less than a week or almost ten times faster than a conventional Data Center, for small, medium and enterprise businesses.

The company said that the FluidState framework stands for Flexible, Lean, Upgradable, Intelligent Data Center, standardised for accelerated deployment.

The FluidState Data Center provides a modular design, which is optimised for efficiency, cooling, power and space, and facilitates in upgrading or downgrading Data Center without any downtime, the company said.

Wipro claims that FluidState offers a greener Data Center in terms of a unified computing environment with 24×7 lights out operation, capacity on demand, 4 times higher density per rack, up to 40% lower cooling cost and reduced carbon footprint. The Data Center uses virtualisation and highest density in its building blocks.

Wipro vice president and business head professional services Division Wipro, India, Middle East and Africa Achuthan Nair said that the unprecedented growth in data and need for increased computing power in DCs, FluidState offers a simple offering whereby businesses can deploy Data Centers in the shortest possible time.

The company said that Wipro FluidState is available in four models, Nano, Standard, Enterprise and Enterprise Plus, and are designed for deployment, both indoors and outdoors.
