Data centre specialist Virtus says it is on the hunt for more data centres after starting the construction of its latest site in West London.
Virtus London2 is designed to reduce environmental damage and energy bills by using 100% green power from renewable sources and heat pumps.
Virtus said it expects to bring site power usage effectiveness (PUE) to below 1.2, delivering savings for its clients.
Other features include the latest solar panels, ground water from its own well, chimney racks for heat extraction and a UPS systems.

Steve Norris, Chairman of Virtus Data Centres, said the company has grown quickly since the opening of its first site in Enfield three years ago.
"That growth is fuelled by the boom in technology, media and mobile activity in London," he said.
He added: "We wanted our LONDON2 facility to be right at the cutting edge of environmental efficiency and we’re proud of what we’ve started.
