CSC has entered into a seven-year information technology services outsourcing agreement with VF, an apparel company, under which the former will provide desk service, end user support services, network services, distributed computing services and data centre management services.

Work will be performed utilising CSC’s worldwide network of delivery centres. The transition from VF’s current information technology services provider to CSC is expected to be completed by the end of August 2011.

VF vice president and chief information officer Martin Schneider said they are pleased to have formed a collaborative relationship with CSC for enabling and supporting the success of VF and their brands with its technology capabilities.

VF vice president of Global Technology Operations John Brantley said they are looking forward to the experience, flexibility and speed that CSC will bring to their relationship and have great confidence they will help them achieve VF’s growth goals.
