V7, the exclusive house brand for Ingram Micro, has unveiled 8-Port and 5-Port Unmanaged 10/100/1000 ethernet and gigabit networking switches.

The new line of switches allow SMBs and home users to connect multiple computers as well as cameras, print and media servers, storage devices, VoIP phones and more to an ethernet or wireless LAN.

The company said that its new switches are available with an option of two speeds (fast ethernet or Gigabit) and are compatible with existing 10/100 and 10/100/1000 network infrastructure.

Rainer Kozlik, vice president and general manager of Ingram Micro’s Global V7 Private Label Group, said: "Our new line of reliable and affordable switches takes expanding networks to the next level in connectivity speed and efficiency.

"For a low price, our switches can serve as the network backbone for sharing e-mail, printers, files, multiplayer games, hard drives and more, creating significant value for VARs and customers alike."
