Twitter has launched its Moments feature in the UK, which will show trending stories on several topics.
Moments will feature the best stories happening on Twitter, curated by the company and select partners.
It appears when a user clicks the lightning bolt tab in Twitter. They can see a list of stories that matter them.
Users can then start swiping through a collection of tweets, videos, GIFs, photos and Vines – all on the same subject.
The progress bar at the bottom shows how much more each Moment has to offer.
Even though majority of the UK’s Moments will be curated by Twitter, the company is also partnering with media and sports entities including Premier League, Glamour magazine, The Sun, Sky News, The Economist, BT Sport, Sky Sports, and several others.
Twitter Moments EMEA lead Joanna Geary said: "Twitter is absolutely part of the national conversation in UK across everything from sports to TV to politics to local news and music.
"Previously you may have felt you could only keep up by following thousands of accounts; with Moments, we do that for you. And while a single Moment is a temporary follow, it’s a great way to find out about fellow users you might not normally connect with."
The UK is the third country where Twitter launched Moments feature. The social network earlier unveiled the service in the US and Brazil.
