Securus Technologies, a provider of inmate communications services, has enhanced its Secure Call Platform (SCP) with newly enhanced features to provide an array of call management and investigative technology.
The new enhancement includes more than 50 features to the call management system.
The company claims that these fully integrated enhancements helped users: improve control over inmate calls; increase investigative and fraud detection capabilities; enhance reporting; and track user accountability.
In addition, with SCP’s centralised platform architecture, all standard upgrades were made available to all SCP sites immediately upon release, without operational interruptions, Securus said.
Securus sales vice president Joshua Conklin said the company invest millions of dollars each year to ensure all of their SCP customers are equipped with the industry’s most advanced tools and technology.
"We continue to upgrade our installed base of legacy platforms to SCP and are on-track to complete our migration efforts by 2013," Conklin said.
