Prime Time Communications plans to acquire internet service provider Mstar in a deal that is expected to benefit both companies and provide Mstar subscribers with enhanced voice and video services.
Prime Time Communications and Mstar have been working on this deal for several months and plan to finalize the transaction in March 2009.
Prime Time Communications said it will continue on Mstar’s path as the premier provider of data, voice, and video services on the Utopia fiber optic network in the state of Utah.
Stephen Russo, CEO of Mstar, said: Prime Time has the infrastructure that Mstar needs to deliver its video and phone solution efficiently and with better quality. We will continue to deliver the advanced technology and services our customers and partners have come to expect, but now have an even stronger service set to offer them.
Mark Wentzlaff, CEO of Prime Time Communications, said: The continued expansion of the fiber-to-the-home technology allows for the delivery of expanded services. Prime Time’s advanced internet protocol triple-play will provide Mstar subscribers with more video content, expanded voice features and the fastest internet speeds.
