Japanese electronics company Panasonic has entered into a long-term corporate partnership with Historic Royal Palaces (HRP), an independent charity that manages six former royal residences in the UK.

Under the partnership, Panasonic will display its latest, innovative business technologies to the visitors of the HRP, a major tourist attraction in the country.

Previously, 12 Panasonic high brightness projectors were used during the 500th anniversary celebrations at Hampton Court Palace to showcase a 22-minute projected artwork that narrated the architectural and cultural history of the palace.

The show was played for three nights over the Easter weekend this year.

Now, Panasonic laser projectors are being used to show animations about Hampton Court history.

The Japanese tech giant has already installed eight projectors within the Tower of London jewel house, which narrates the story of the Crown Jewels.

According to HRP chairman Rupert Gavin, the new age projection and display technologies will help HRP to showcase the story of how monarchs and people shaped society in a creative way.

Panasonic System Communications Company Europe managing director Masaki Arizono said: "This partnership marks the start of a long-term relationship with Historic Royal Palaces, which we feel generates tremendous value for both parties.

"It is part of a wider Panasonic strategy to provide dedicated solutions support for our key customers."
