Bulgarian mobile operator m:tel has chosen Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) to expand and upgrade its GSM network and enable customized services for its subscribers.
As part of the contract, NSN will expand m:tel’s GSM radio network and mobile softswitching core network, and ensure roll-out through professional implementation services.
The company said that it will also provide its Service Assurance Solution, to give m:tel a real-time view of user activity and service usage to enable problem detection and the introduction of new services.
In addition, NSN’s browsing gateway is expected to provide m:tel customers with access to advanced data services, and an extension of the charge@once prepaid charging platform.
