NAAP Global Solutions, a provider of asset management offerings for telecommunications carriers and utility companies, and BocaVox, a software development firm, have signed a partnership agreement to integrate their software applications.
The collaboration on a new synchronisation interface between NAAP (Network Asset Administration Program) and BocaVox’s CMS (Circuit Management System) will benefit operators, offering a synchronisation interface that will allow them to manage their network Assets and their associated Circuits.
In addition, by leveraging the information available in both systems, operator’s tasks will be simplified by eliminating the need to duplicate and maintain data in two different platforms while creating a data reconciliation mechanism.
NAAP Global Solutions executive vice-president Leticia Splunteren said the idea of integrating actually came from their common customer base, which is extremely happy with both applications and saw great value in having data flowing back and forth the two systems.
"Operators have data in a multitude of platforms, and there is no simple way to reconcile it, much less to know which information is the most reliable, this makes the operator inefficient while directly hitting its operational expenses," Splunteren said.
