Mahindra Satyam, a consulting and IT services provider, said that it would enlarge its Global Solution Center (GSC) operations in Malaysia by moving more global software development and delivery operations to its GSC, located at a 15-acre site at Cyberjaya, Malaysia’s Info-Comm Technology (ICT) corridor.
The company said that the GSC has 18 configurable Offshore Development Centre blocks, 1,100-seat development block and a data centre to host 1,100 servers. It will serve as its largest technology development and delivery facility outside of India.
According to Mahindra Satyam, the new centre focuses on providing a range of both mainstream business and technology functions like remote infrastructure management outsourcing, business process outsourcing, software services as well as some specialised software testing. Presently, the centre has 500 full-time local engineers serving local and global customers.
Recently, the company implemented a global organisational restructuring that involved the integration of the sales and delivery functions to enhance customer satisfaction.
