Lunascape has released an official version of its web browser, Lunascape 6 Orion, which comes with triple add-on support to its triple engine system.

The company said that the users can switch between three rendering engines Trident (behind internet explorer), Gecko (behind Firefox) and WebKit (behind Google Chrome and Safari) on the fly per tab and can also utilise an array of add-ons for Firefox, IE and Lunascape in a single platform.

According to Lunascape, the new offering features firefox add-on compatibility without compromising on speed and the add-on can also be used with the company’s gecko engine. The firefox add-on can be directly added to Lunascape or transfer existing one with few clicks.

The company claims that the refined user interface including triple engine side by side split tab display default design is updated with highly functional yet minimalist style. The webpage can be viewed in three different rendering engines side-by-side for comparison.

The cross browser extensibility for unified and optimal browsing experience beyond unifying four browsers into a single platform through triple engines and add-ons, Lunascape also added APIs to support triple engine, to develop cross browser extensions.

Lunascape runs on Windows 2000, XP, Vista, Server 2003 and is now compatible with Windows 7.
