London Data Exchange (LDeX) will complete the expansion of its LDeX1 data centre by 31 May 2013, adding 3,500ft2 of colocation space in North West London.
Currently, the LDeX1 data centre has 22,000ft2 carrier neutral colocation facility located within the M25 at the foot of M1 near Staples Corner near to the A5, the M25, and the M4.
According to the company, the neutral data centre provides connectivity options to other leading data centres and multiple options for internet connectivity ranging from straightforward IP Transit to dark fibre services from multiple providers.
London Data Exchange director Matthew Edgley said that the new data hall delivers a wide range of colocation configurations to clients from a broad range of sectors.
"We’re already reserving space within the new data hall for clients requiring single rack and multiple rack caged space where we’re facilitating their move from other locations over a period of several months," Edgely added.
"The outlook for 2013 is even more promising as the LDeX customer base continues to grow their capacity and new client acquisition is much higher than we had expected."
