Level 3 Communications, has been selected by CAP Logistics, a transportation offerings provider, to offer voice, data, Internet protocol (IP) and colocation services.

Under the terms of the three-year agreement, Level 3 will provide CAP Logistics with session initiated protocol (SIP) trunking voice, IP virtual private network (IPVPN), dedicated Internet access (DIA), and colocation services.

Level 3 said that CAP Logistics will use these new services to manage its business more efficiently and bolster its disaster recovery offerings.

The services will be deployed in Denver, Salt Lake City, Houston and Mount Prospect, Ill.

CAP Logistics president and CEO Gayle Dendinger said that Level 3’s vast array of telecommunications services, coupled with reliable service expertise and its advanced Tier 1 IP backbone, enable them to provide premium offerings to better serve their customer base.
