Legent Ltd, the company created out of Morino Inc and Duquesne Systems, has released a new output management tool for MVS-based data centres. The company says that the tool, which is called Bundl, streamlines and automates the report distribution process, and also provides flexible routing, on-line access to reports, and an archival facility. Other features include an Interactive Systems Productivity Feature-type inter-face, an on-line help facility, and operations control screens. Bundl’s open interface enables any VTAM application to be integrated, and it operates under all versions of MVS running JES 2 or JES 3. Legent Ltd, which is based in Slough, in Berkshire, says that the price of a Bundl varies between UKP20,000 and UKP30,000, depending on the configuration that is required.
