Kyup will open two data centres in Europe and Asia, the company’s first expansion outside the United States.
The cloud hosting provider said the facilities in Amsterdam and Singapore will provide customers with low latency due to the geographical proximity paired with other Kyup’s solutions, such as five second cloud server provisioning, auto scaling with no downtime, reliable backup and technical support.
The company added that it had chosen Amsterdam because of its central location within Europe and proximity to other countries.
As for the Singapore hub, the enterprise will serve not only the Asian market but also "tap into the Australian and New Zealand tech scenes in tandem".
Tenko Nikolov, Kyup’s CEO, said: "This expansion will allow Kyup to provide existing and future customers with greater access to the European and Asian markets and offer our scalable container cloud infrastructure to the growing tech and start-up communities in both these regions."
The company realised it will introduce other solutions throughout the year including Private Networking, Automatic migration from other cloud hosting providers and native Docker support on LXC containers.
