Searching online content in real time has brought success for Twitter, now rumors surround that Google is also set to release its own microblogging search engine.
Earlier, Google has stated that services like Twitter have become successful in the present scenario. An unofficial website about Google – Google Operating System Blog – indicated that Google is also planning to come up with its own microblogging engine.
Google Operating System notes a recent Google listing that refers to ‘Google’s MicroBlogsearch’ and mentions Twitter as ‘the popular service associated with this format.’
Currently, it is unclear whether Google would be undertaking the project on its own or it will make a deal with Twitter. The two companies are rumored to be in talks with each other about entering into a partnership.
It is not yet confirmed whether Google would be launching its own microblogging engine but if the company decides to go ahead with it then, it is believed that, the search engine would enhance Google’s real-time results.
