UK-based Intec Telecom Systems, a provider of business and operations support systems, has won two multi-million dollar deals with existing customers, one with an operator customer in EMEA region and the second with a North American-based communications service provider.

According to Intec, the contract with its EMEA operator customer is for a convergent billing (Singl.eView) license upgrade. Intec added that it has a long-standing relationship with this operator, working closely with it over a number of years. The revenue from this agreement will be recognized in the current financial year.

Intec said that the North American deal is for its InterconnecT system, which will be used in providing roaming services to other carriers. The build-out will commence in the second half of 2009 under a three-year managed services contract to be fulfilled out of Intec’s North American headquarters in Atlanta.

Andrew Taylor, CEO of Intec, said: Intec is committed to helping its customers increase their competitive edge while enabling significant cost-savings, more important than ever as the global telecommunications market undergoes increasing pressure. This announcement is further proof of our outstanding ability to deliver world-class technology solutions and is a significant achievement for the team, underpinning the board’s expectations for the current year.
