Home management broadband service provider iControl Networks has partnered with Switzerland’s telecoms provider Swisscom to deliver "Smart Living" offerings to the latter.
With Swisscom’s "Smart Living" offering, residential customers can stay connected to their homes when away with the new products and services from iControl and Swisscom, and can control home appliances and other devices via smartphones or the web.
Security sensors and video, as well as appliances such as heaters, lamps or coffee machines, are linked together in an intelligent network that consumers can control from anywhere, at any time, iControl said.
iControl CEO Robert Hagerty said Swisscom is the ideal partner for iControl to introduce its offerings to the European market.
