Hughes Network Systems has said that its portfolio of managed network services are now available to federal government agencies through its GSA Schedule and Networx partners.
Hughes with the new availability will be able to deliver a national managed broadband network encompassing combination of voice, video, and data offering for federal agencies and their field offices across the country, leveraging the company’s leading nationwide broadband satellite service and the best of terrestrial access technologies.
The news services will provide federal agencies with fully managed services from a single provider – one vendor, one bill; a tailored architecture designed for an agency’s security and IT requirements; and access to a national managed broadband network.
The services also include data, voice, and video capabilities; a multi-transport broadband network, such as DSL, cable, 3G, satellite; the highest WAN performance possible; and turnkey implementation.
Hughes also provides central Network Operations Center with one portal for nationwide visibility of all sites, along with an interactive, on-line ticketing system for managing service calls.
Hughes assistant vice president for government offering Tony Bardo said with this managed services offering, Hughes would be able to deliver what has – until now – been missing from the landscape of federal networking options.
