Information and communications technology (ICT) applications provider Huawei has launched three new telecommunications software applications which include: Convergent Billing Solution (CBS) R5, Telco Cloud, and Value Growth Solution (VGS).

The new telecom software apps are designed to offer end users with enhanced experiences, while helping operators and partners achieve business success through improved monetisation of those experiences, said the company.

Convergent Billing Solution R5 features a refined system architecture that enables carriers to enhance flexibility, support different business models, satisfy new and dynamic market requirements and expand their businesses with increased agility, the company said.

Telco Cloud offers a range of cloud components, including facilities and infrastructure, such as storage and servers.

It also helps carriers migrate to the cloud, meeting market demand for consulting services, management services, smart pipes, and strong service-level agreement guarantees.

Huawei’s new Value Growth Solution focuses on traffic management and enhanced bandwidth revenue and it helps carriers in their transformation from voice operators to bandwidth traffic management operators.

The VGS features user content adaptation and bandwidth control that provides enhanced user experiences and traffic management capabilities, enabling carriers to maximise business value, increase revenue per bit, and enhance mobile broadband penetration, the company said.
