Huawei and Global Switch have partnered in order to develop new solutions which are to assist in building modular data centres in support of smart Operation and Maintenance (O&M).
Announced at CeBIT 2017, the partnership between Huawei and Global Switch builds an understanding between the two companies that enables them to explore ways to mutually benefit from each other.
The partnership also allows them to further each other’s businesses in respect of data centre design, operation and maintenance and the utilisation of technical space in a data centre.
Global Switch, has built a reputation for creating data centres which set new standards in scale, resilience and connectivity.
The company’s latest focus has been on improving efficiency in data centre operation and maintenance, whilst reducing the expense of operation.

As a provider of data centre facility solutions, Huawei hopes to help Global Switch by providing new solutions which will be in support of O&M.

Huawei also recently partnered with Canonical for data centre efficiency, with Huawei announcing the inclusion of its completed CloudFabric Cloud Data Centre Network Solution.
