Global Crossing (UK) Telecommunications (GCUK), a subsidiary of Global Crossing, has reported total revenues of £78m for the second quarter of 2010, which remains flat as compared to the same quarter in 2009.
The company posted an operating profit was £5m for Q2 FY10, an increase of 100% as compared to £2.5m for the same period last year.
GCUK’s gross profit increased to £28.7m as compared to £26.4m for the same quarter prior year.

Global Crossing CEO John Legere said that the company’s return to year-over-year improvement in enterprise and carrier data revenue demonstrates continuing demand for its IP-based offerings and managed services.
"We see opportunity in the UK market, even in a challenging economic environment, and we are investing prudently to diversify and grow our revenue as we strengthen our competitive position."
