Fujitsu has released the next generation PRIMERGY dual-socket x86 servers to in a bid to better performance and modularity.
The new server line-up creates a customisable server platform that allows customers to configure systems to meet their current IT needs, and extend later if required.
New PRIMERGY servers support General-Purpose computing on Graphics Processing Unit (GPGPU) cards and provide 100% additional memory capacity and space for an additional 33% hard disks.
The servers include ServerView Virtual I/O Manager that ensures improved administration and also provides network-agnostic virtualisation in dynamic data centre scenarios.
The servers also include Intel Xeon processor E5 family which improves the overall performance up to 70%.
The new line-up of Fujitsu PRIMERGY dual-socket servers include tower server PRIMERGY TX300 S7, PRIMERGY RX300 S7 rack server, server blade PRIMERGY BX920 S3, PRIMERGY BX924 S3 server blade, PRIMERGY RX200 S7 rack server and PRIMERGY RX350 S7 rack server.
