Dell has expanded its ProSupport for Multivendor beyond x86 to include support for storage, networking and UNIX products to more countries.
The expansion also includes support for additional vendors for servers, desktops and laptops.
Consolidation of support under one service provider will enable customers to get consistent processes and allow them to reduce resources for managing complex services contracts from multiple vendors.
This process simplifies IT management and reduces the IT costs.
The expansion of Dell ProSupport for Multivendor includes coverage for systems from vendors such as HP, Cisco, NetApp, IBM, Sun, Toshiba and more.
Prior to the expansion, Dell ProSupport for Multivendor had provided support for x86 systems from HP, IBM, Lenovo and Acer in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.
Dell Services vice-president Doug Schmitt said from end-user systems to complex data centres and everything in between, customers will save time and money and will receive the support from Dell ProSupport.
