Concurrent has signed a partnership with Atlanta-based Clearleap, an internet-based TV technology platform. By uilising Concurrent’s Media Data and Advertising Solutions (MDAS) and Clearleap’s network-based platform for media management and distribution, the two companies aim to offer an integrated service.
The hosted service reportedly allows television service providers to obtain visibility into user consumption through a web-based management interface that aggregates and processes data from a combination of Concurrent’s and Clearleap’s interfaces. The partnership will also allow television service providers, using the Clearleap platform, to monetise their video offerings through addressable advertising.
Paul Haddad, vice president and general manager of MDAS at Concurrent, said: The combination of Concurrent’s and Clearleap’s expertise and solutions provides the industry with a unique and fully integrated video solution supporting a wide array of content distribution, interactivity, cross services data collection and correlation and advanced advertising within the video services.
According to Concurrent, MDAS reportedly provides Clearleap the ability to offer their customers a picture of their operations, subscriber usage, content consumption and advertising effectiveness, thus enabling interactivity and addressability to commercialise video.
Braxton Jarratt, CEO of Clearleap, said: By integrating our network-based platform with Concurrent’s widely-deployed media data infrastructure, we are able to offer a packaged turn-key solution that provides better monetisation, access to significantly more content and around-the-clock visibility.
