Colt has launched a mobile app which allows sales teams to check whether a building is connected to Colt’s network and provide a quote in real time.

FeetOnStreet provides visual identification of buildings connected to Colt’s network when the user enters the address or views it on a map.

In addition, it provides a live price display for services available on fibre or leased lines and direct access to Colt’s extranet for comprehensive pricing and product information.

The iOS and Android-compatible app will be provided to Colt’s indirect network of over 170 agents and 22 franchisees in addition to the company’s direct sales team and can be accessed on a tablet or smartphone.

"The FeetOnStreet App is a powerful visual tool that helps us respond quickly to our customers," explains James Kershaw, Sales Director at Colt. "Thanks to the app, our partners now have a tool that is simple to use and enables them to locate new prospects based on their location and get a quote in seconds.

Kershaw adds: "This helps speed up the sales cycle for the partner considerably and helps customers make informed decisions based on reliable information."

Colt recently rejected an all-cash buy-out offer from largest shareholder Fidelity, which claimed the offer would not be increased under any circumstances.
