Clearway Insight has released its beta version of Clearway Insight, a social networking, personal publishing, and productivity offering that integrates search, information aggregation, organisation and publishing with browser and desktop functionality; Bing and Google search results; applications and functionality of the cloud and Web 2.0; and personally generated information such as spreadsheets, documents, and emails.

The company said that the new offering also enables and supports topic and interest-based user communities and business workgroups, while enabling users to capture and compile content, turn it into insight, and publish and share it.

According to Clearway, the new application enables users to drag a link from the results of any source of information into one secure place; find, manage and organise information without relying on file names; add comments to or rate content, users, images, files, web links or search results; keep Insights private and share; enable others who reviewed the content to tap the Insight of an entire community of users who may have touched the same content.

In addition, it also helps users to collaborate and gather insight from others; organise disparate information gathered from various sources and format it; and publish information to any social site, blog, or website of choice.

Kevin Cotter, chief executive officer of Clearway, said: “The ability to reduce the number of web searches by over 20%, to eliminate the need for repeat searches, and reduce time spent organising and reworking information by over 15% speaks volumes about the incredible power of Clearway Insight.”
