Aruba Networks, a provider of wireless LAN products, has reported total revenue of $105.8m for the third quarter of fiscal 2011, an increase of 53% compared to $69.0m of the same quarter prior year.
The company posted gross profit of $71.6m for Q3 fiscal 2011, compared to $46.8m of the same period last year.
The company registered operating loss of $2.4m, compared to an operating loss of $5.3m of the same quarter previous year.
For the quarter ended 30 April 2011, Aruba Networks reported a net income of $3.2m, as compared to net loss of $5.3m in Q3 fiscal 2010.
Aruba president and chief executive officer Dominic Orr said the company is helping companies and organisations transform the network edge and move to a mobility-centric architecture.
"In the third quarter, we benefited from strong demand across all of our major geographies and increasing acceptance of our offerings in both the general enterprise and across our other verticals. Our continued innovation is a key factor in our rapid customer acquisition, as we added over 1,200 new customers in the third quarter," Orr said.
