Affiliated Computer Services (ACS) has signed a five-year information technology (IT) contract extending its relationship with Symetra Financial, a provider of employee benefits, annuities and life insurance products.
Under the renewed contract, ACS will continue to provide IT infrastructure services, and use new technologies including the ACS Management Platform, an offering that provides improved service management capabilities to clients.
ACS said that it has provided a range of IT infrastructure services including data centre, help desk, and voice and data networks for Symetra since 2004. In addition, ACS provides output and content management services, and a variety of cross-functional services including security, asset management and disaster recovery.
Derrell James, EVP and group president of IT outsourcing (ITO) solutions at ACS, said: “Symetra’s decision to renew its contract with ACS is a great example of our commitment to building long-term relationships with clients that deepen and strengthen over time.”
