Secure Cloud Interconnect offers users high-performing connections via Verizon’s Private IP network to safely link them to a broad ecosystem of cloud service providers.
According to Verizon, its Enterprise Solutions will simplify the complexity faced by public sector organisations to seamlessly connect, manage and secure their cloud environments which often extends across multiple clouds and data centres.
Verizon Secure Cloud Interconnect will provide a secure, private Internet connection that features consumption-based bandwidth, pre-provisioned on-demand resources, application performance through a centralised online portal.
The service supports public, private and hybrid cloud and colocation solutions from connected clouds including Amazon Web Services, Google, HP, Microsoft, Salesforce, Verizon and data center by CoreSite, Equinix, Verizon.
The company will be deploying its edge routers into third-party data centres to deliver enterprise-class performance and security and to enable pre-integration of networking and interfaces.
By using the online portal, public sector organisations can select their cloud partners, location and service information and the service is quickly provisioned.
