SQS has announced that it is the first company to achieve HP’s Application Lifecycle Management Specialist Partner status across Europe.
Already a long standing HP partner, SQS has made a significant investment to become HP’s ALM Specialist Partner in eight countries across Europe, with 32 technical specialists and sixteen salespeople undergoing a rigorous training and certification process.
HP ALM is a suite of software that enables organisations to manage the application lifecycle from conception through to retirement.
Combined with unrivalled expertise in HP testing tools, SQS’ new partnership status recognises the company’s ability to maximise ROI for HP ALM implementations. SQS also provides quality assurance services to HP ALM clients launching new software and applications.
Phil Codd, SQS executive responsible for the HP relationship, said: "We have aligned SQS with HP Software’s new partner strategy, where specialist certified partners are recognised for their ability to add value for HP clients.
"Our new partner status differentiates SQS as a partner of choice for HP ALM. This is particularly important as organisations are under pressure to roll-out quality assured apps and technologies quickly, especially in the fields of cloud, mobile and service virtualisation."
Adam Featherstone, director, channel strategy & programs EMEA at HP Software, commented on the partnership: "SQS was recognised as HP’s ‘Software Commercial Partner of the Year’ 2011 and has consistently demonstrated a deep understanding of our tools. This expertise underpins SQS’ new Specialist Partner status, and our clients can be confident in SQS’ ability to provide expert and accredited quality assurance."
SQS is now part of the HP partner programme – PartnerOne. HP simplified the Specialist Partner designations by creating a common set of requirements across multiple business units.
The countries covered by the partnership are Austria, Finland, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK.
