Software solutions provider ASG Software Group (ASG) has acquired high-powered capacity planning and performance management offerings provider PERFMAN.
PERFMAN helps businesses to proactively plan, analyse, better align business objectives with IT performance and avoid fire-fighting mode.
Post the acquisition, PERFMAN solutions will become part of the overall ASG family of solutions.
ASG president and CEO Arthur Allen said by combining PERFMAN’s solutions with ASG’s Cloud Management offering and the ASG Enterprise Automation Management Suite (EAMS), their customers will be able to plan their cloud infrastructure and elasticity needs with full confidence.
PERFMAN chairman Jim VanArtsdalen said organizations can save money by avoiding unnecessary hardware and software purchases as well as upgrades by leveraging PERFMAN’s easy to use reporting and modeling tools.
