SAP is expanding its analytics portfolio with an updated 2.2 version of its Predictive Analytics software.
The updated software is designed to create better predictive insights with the use of ultra-wide data sets which are automatically handled.
This feature means that companies can utilise more data to create better insights and increase the understanding of customer behaviour.
With an eye on the growing demands for IoT integration, the company has integrated with its Business Warehouse application, offline mode. Additional improvements add new algorithms into the APL and improved integration of R.
Steve Lucas, president, Platform Solutions, SAP, said: "There is immense, untapped value in data and a huge opportunity to translate that value into tangible business outcomes."
"By accessing and analyzing data we help our customers identify trends that reveal new markets, channels and innovations. SAP offers a complete portfolio of analytics solutions designed to extract meaning from internal and external data, unlocking the value that truly empowers business success."
The company also launched its Cloud for Planning Mobile App in order to enhance social collaboration capabilities with embedded analytics. The app will allow people to be notified of events and discuss plans in real time.
Finally, it is now reselling NextLabs solutions as extensions to complement its solutions for governance, risk and compliance with attribute-based dynamic authorisation and technical data export compliance.
