Canadian middleware company Solace Systems announced that SAP would be integrating its messaging router technology into the next generation SAP HANA Cloud Platform.

SAP HANA Cloud Platform includes Cloud Integration, which connects applications, business partners and devices as part of end-to-end business process running in the cloud.

Solace’s message router technology will enhance SAP HANA Cloud Integration service, which will help SAP customers realise distributed hybrid cloud connectivity, and meet the scale and throughput requirements of big data and IoT initiatives, the firm said.

The integration will also help customers connect business processes to unlimited numbers of end points without any plan, implement, integrate components of the infrastructure.

SAP senior Products vice president Gunther Rothermel said: "With Solace middleware, we anticipate that SAP customers can take advantage of a pre-integrated architecture for leveraging SAP software and cloud services to help tackle challenges such as the Internet of Things and enabling big data movement in a digital world."

The integration is expected to help enterprises take better advantage of big data, cloud computing and the Internet of Things.

The movement of enterprise IT systems to the cloud, increases the volume and unpredictability of information they send, receive and share, the company said.

The company also added that with the introduction of IOT, the desire of companies to link sensors and control systems have increased, so has the demand for real-time big data, which has increased the need for a scalable, cost-effective way to mitigate these effects.
